Stone Cutter's Hall

This shows the entrance to Flynt Park and Stone Cutters Hall. This is at the South end of Margaret St, while the main pit is a mile North on Margaret.

Whether this is really the original Hall is not clear, but given its location & closeness to the road (High St.,) it probably is.

It also shows the two stone pilars at the entrance to Flynt Park, each used to be adorned (on top) with a dog (which are now in the Monson Library.)
