There are a number of ponds on or off the road, but none so far associated with mills. There maybe 3 exceptions. The first is an area to the East of the road between Brimfield & Beebe, which is marshy now. The second is on the brook which follows Beebe - it is small, but has a reasonable drop. The third is a pond off on the East up in the woods, which was large enough for the youth of the area to skate, back when it got cold enough.
