SouthWest Section

This quadrant basically includes the Monson area West of Route 32, and to the South of the Upper Hampden Rd. It also includes Paradise Lake (formally the other Smith Pond,) Calkin's Pond (now StageCoach Lake) and any mills on Wood Hill Road

If future time & documentation become available, it may also include the first Ellis Family mill somewhat to the South of the extension of CrowHill Rd in Connecticut.

The one notable brook is the Temple Brook, which drains the West side of Peaked Mtn. It flows Westward to the Hampden line, parelleling the Lower Hampden Road.

This area was not as densely populated with mills as were the Village and the other quadrants.
